Book Design

I am a proficient InDesign and Photoshop user, and have used those abilities in service of Latah Books titles such as The Cascade Killer, Escape Into Rain, and the forthcoming Freaks of a Feather (from the banner image above).

I especially like working on photograph-reliant book covers. It's a fun challenge to take an author's story, render it down, and reflect those themes, tones, and subjects in a cover design. When I work on book design, it is an iterative process that involves regular communication with the writer.
